How to Remove or Uninstall (Delete) the Revry App from Your Smart TV

If you no longer wish to use the Revry app, you can easily remove it from your device. Follow the instructions below for your specific smart TV platform.

Amazon Fire TV

From the Home screen, go to Settings.
Select Applications > Manage Installed Applications.
Scroll through the list and select Revry.
Choose Uninstall.
Confirm when prompted.

Tip: You can also highlight the Revry app on your home screen, press the Menu (☰) button on your remote, then choose Uninstall.

Apple TV (tvOS)

Navigate to the Home screen.
Highlight the Revry app (do not open it).
Press and hold the Touch surface or Select button until the app begins to jiggle.
Press the Play/Pause button.
Select Delete to confirm.

If you want to reinstall later, visit the App Store and search for Revry.

Roku

Highlight the Revry channel on your Roku home screen.
Press the Star (*) button on your Roku remote.
Select Remove channel.
Confirm when prompted.

Note: If Revry was added via your Roku account or mobile app, removing it on one device removes it across all linked devices.

Samsung Smart TV (Tizen OS)

Press the Home button on your remote.
Navigate to Apps.
Select the Settings (gear icon) in the top-right corner.
Find Revry in the list of installed apps.
Highlight it and choose Delete.
Confirm to uninstall.

For older Tizen models, the Options button may open the delete prompt directly.

LG Smart TV (webOS)

Press the Home button on your remote.
Navigate to the Launcher bar and locate the Revry app.
Hover over the app until a small X appears above it.
Select the X to delete.
Confirm when asked.

If the X does not appear, select Edit Apps from the menu options first.

Vizio SmartCast TV

Vizio SmartCast TVs do not allow manual app uninstallation, as most apps (including Revry) are built into the platform.

To remove Revry access:

Open the SmartCast App row, highlight Revry, and select Remove from Favorites (if available).
You can also perform a SmartCast reset:
Go to Settings > System > Reset & Admin > Reset to Factory Settings to remove any custom app data.

Android TV / Google TV

From the Home screen, select Settings.
Go to Apps > See all apps.
Find and select Revry.
Choose Uninstall.
Confirm your choice.

Alternatively, you can highlight the Revry app on your home screen, press and hold the Select button, then choose View details > Uninstall.

Troubleshooting

If you see “App can’t be deleted,” restart your TV and try again.
Make sure your firmware is up to date — some older models restrict app management.
If you are using an external streaming device (e.g., Fire Stick or Roku Stick), follow that device’s uninstall steps rather than your TV’s built-in system.
